Here at Powderham Vets in Torquay, we are looking for a dedicated and professional Registered Veterinary Surgeon to join our team! You will be helping with the day to day duties of an assistant Vet. You will be working 5 days a week with an early finish and time off in lieu for working Saturday morning. There is no Out of Hours, only in patient cover needed which is equally shared with the nursing team as well. There will be flexible time if needed!
About Us
We are a progressive, primarily small animal and equine practice looking for an ambitious Vet to join our team in South Devon, with two well equipped branches. You would be an integral member of a relaxed, supportive and friendly team.
At Powderham Vets we pride ourselves on our place in the community and the level of care we provide to all the pets and animals in our care.
We run 15 minute consultations and have digital x-ray, dental x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, laser, stem cell therapy and decent tea and coffee in our modern refurbished premises! Our case load is 95%+ small animal with the occasional Equine visit.
We currently have 2 senior Vets, 3 Veterinary Nurses, 2 receptionists and a practice manager. The salary will be from £32,000-£40,000.

We are looking for someone with experience. We would consider 100% small animal; and a good sense of humour is top priority!
