First Opinion Veterinary Surgeon Required At New Priory Vets In Brighton, East Sussex

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to expand our skilled and experienced team of 7 first-opinion vets. Our vets work a 4 day week and currently enjoy 20 minute consults, a varied and interesting caseload, dedicated surgery days and time built into each day for communication with owners. Our vets are supported by a fantastic team of RVNs, SVNs and NAs. With only one in four weekends worked, supported by an ECC team overnight, and a dedicated in-patient vet during the day, the work-life balance is excellent.

We enjoy extensive facilities including two theatres, a vast array of equipment (including CT and laparoscopy), and a comprehensive choice of in-house blood tests. We have onsite Specialists and Advanced Practitioners in cardiorespiratory medicine, imaging, ECC and endoscopy and our in-house emergency service means our patients benefit from outstanding care 24/7. Having dedicated night and inpatient team means there is no on-call or OOH requirement for our first-opinion vets.
