VetPro Recruitment are seeking a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join a multi-site small animal practice in Essex. The role is suited to an experienced vet looking to develop into a Head Vet role or a vet with experience in a similar position. You will lead the team and the practice into future development alongside carrying out routine surgeries and mentoring new graduates. Some sole charge will be required. This is a permanent full time position working 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days per week. The practice is open between 08:00 – 19:00. Saturday mornings are on a 1 in 4 rota (08:00 – 13:00). No OOH required. Part time hours considered. You will be working alongside 5 Vets, including surgical certificate holder, and 6 RVNs working across 3 sites. Well equipped practice. On offer is a competitive salary, dependent on experience.
