The role
First Opinion Veterinary Surgeon- Oxford Cat Clinic
An amazing opportunity has arisen for a first opinion Veterinary Surgeon to join the Oxford Cat Clinic.
We are a busy first opinion two site practice, offering a unique opportunity to specialise in all things cat. We work hard as a team to provide high standard care to our clients and their cats. Our first opinion vets are encouraged to continue to improve our service, supported by RVN's who have their own clinic streams and ANA's who help with cat-handling and clinic cleaning. The practice also has a fabulous reception team.
We know vets work at their best when not continually over-running and exhausted, and where there is a good case communication. We have daily "huddles" and ward rounds. Our 20 minute consults are broken up by gaps for admin and lab reporting. Lunch breaks and finish times are respected.
This is a permanent position working full time hours. Out of hours arrangements are favourable, with an option for time back for weekend working.
As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination with a keen interest in soft tissue surgery encouraged. Dentistry competence is necessary.
