About the Practice/Location
This first opinion practice is a busy 2 branch, PSS accredited practice, and they are looking for a motivated, forward-thinking, small animal nurse to join and expand our team. The role will work between their two sites, which are just over two miles apart. The ideal candidate would be a good team player who is enthusiastic and passionate about Veterinary care.
The role involves a variety of duties, including monitoring of anaesthetics, performing radiographs, taking blood pressures, cytology, in-patient care, and keeping PSS standards. We pride ourselves on the numerous nurse clinics we offer, and we encourage ideas to keep moving the practice forward.
This small animal practice is made up of 10 full- and part-time Vets, 10 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 2 ANAs. They have certificate holders within the nursing teams, and encourage further learning and CPD.
This practice prides itself on good patient care, and they see a very varied caseload. They have access to in-house laboratory equipment, ultrasound, digital x-rays (including dental x-rays), and anaesthetic monitoring equipment, such as pulse oximeters and capnographs. They have also just obtained a brand-new therapeutic laser.
