VetPro Recruitment are seeking an Official Vet for Food/Product Export Certification for a nationwide company and a leading provider of export health certificates. The role is for the export of food and other products of animal origin to the EU and rest-of-the-world. Currently recruiting for an OV to cover the North & West London, Slough, Berkshire area. No experience in this field is required, as the company provide comprehensive training and support. The main job requirements are a great eye for detail, flexibility, and willingness to travel as part of the working day; whilst using your veterinary expertise to ensure the safety of public and animal health. The work is a mix of travel to on-site work (most locations are less than 1-1.5 hours travel away), and some home-based work. The working day is usually between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with a mixture of short and long days within each 40hr week. There is no evening, night, weekend, or abattoir work involved. There may be occasional opportunities to travel and work at other locations within the UK. The candidate must be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and have OCQ ES, EX, PX panels, although for the right candidate the company will support and train for the relevant qualifications which will be fully funded by the company.
