We have a unique opportunity for a vet to join our friendly and vibrant team covering our expanding small animal and smallholder client base.
Situated within the stunning Wye Valley on the border of Herefordshire and South Wales; we have a very strong belief in a good work-life balance whilst providing our own emergency cover to ensure the best care for our clients. The role involves a 1:6 weekend and on-call rota with days off in the week.
Salary is commensurate with experience with full and part-time roles available. Our vets and nurses are well experienced in supporting new and recent graduates, including accredited mentors and second on call.
Formally a truly mixed practise, we have recently altered our focus to small animals and smallholders; providing a great chance to support the comprehensive care of a wide range of species.
CPD is actively encouraged with many of our vets and RVNs holding certificates ranging from Small Animal Surgery to Dentistry and Exotic Medicine.
We are a fully equipped modern practice with all the gadgets, including endoscopy and digital x-ray, with plans to establish a local branch surgery.
The candidate must be enthusiastic with a strong focus on communication and client care. A good sense of humour is a definite must to fit in with our Vine Tree family!
