Sidcup, Kent, United KingdomWe are recruiting a permanent full-time clinical lead veterinary surgeon to join a practice in Sidcup.
About the role:
This is a full-time position with a weekend rota of 1:2. There are no ooh however there is the occasional sole charge so the veterinary surgeon must be confident in this area. The practice comprises of a tam of 2 Vets, 1 RVN, 1 SVN and supporting staff. they provide a variety of services including more complex surgeries including soft tissue, orthopaedic, laparascopic, endoscopic and echography.
The practice requires a veterinary surgeon who is confident in all routine surgeries and medical cases. Areas of special interest are encouraged and supported. As clinical lead the surgeon will be responsible for mentoring less experienced vets and encouraging them to reach their full potential. The Vet can have clinical freedom at the practice and to work up their own cases from start to finish.

Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 7pm
Weekends: Yes on a rota Saturday 9am – 5pm Sunday 10.30am – 1pm

Consultations: 10 Minutes
Team: 2 Vet 2 RVN with support staff

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.

Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 pro rata
