The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen at our practice in Thornton to work with a fun and fully engaged team!
We’re offering a salary of up to £65,000 depending on experience.
About Us
The practice is looking for a full-time or part-time vet, and we are very flexible in our approach to recruitment. Ideally someone with a strong medical or surgical background/interest, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are also open to accepting candidates who only wish to operate or consult. Our team are actively encouraged to study towards a certificate and any special interests will be supported.
We see a varied case load, provide excellent facilities, and would love you to join our team.
Located in Lancashire, close to Poulton le Fylde and easily accessible by motorway links, rail and bus, the surgery is bright, spacious, purpose built to industry leading standards with a digital x-ray, in-house lab, ultrasound, Visiting MRI and up to date monitoring equipment.

A full time role would involve working a 4 day week. Weekday shifts are 08:30 – 19:00, there’s also a shared weekend rota, Saturdays are 08:30 – 17:00, Sundays are 09:30 – 12:30.
About the Team and Culture
The team is currently 2 vets and is supported by 4 nurses, 3 VCA and 8 receptionists, all passionate about providing the very best care for their clients and patients.
