JR is seeking a Clinical Director to join our client’s team. This is a fantastic leadership opportunity with a strong and clinical focus. As Clinical Director, you will oversee the overall management of the practice, shaping clinical services, boosting commercial performance, and nurturing team development. You would be leading a highly respected practice, well-established in the community, and working closely with a skilled and supportive team of veterinary professionals.
The practice is fully equipped with modern facilities including advanced tools in digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, ECG, dental x-ray, and more. You will be working alongside a collaborative team who hold certification ins cardiology, surgery and imaging and all of whom enjoy social activities and a pleasant working environment. This clinic has also been awarded ISFM gold cat-friendly clinic status and RCVS PSS accreditation.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for and required to
- Line manage the lead vets and senior leadership team, ensuring smooth operations and high clinical standards.
- Provide a blend of in-patient care, surgery, and consultations, including case continuity and rapport-building with clients.
- Drive forward the professional development of the clinical team, fostering collaboration and supporting professional growth, including certificate pursuits.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours a week over 4 or 5 days with 1:6 Saturdays.
