A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced night vet to join a reputable, small animal practice in South Wales on a permanent basis. Due to continued growth, our client is now looking to offer an out of hours service to their clients.
The rota would be:
7 on
5 off
2 days (Saturday and Sunday)
14 off
The rota would be 7 nights on, 5 nights off, Saturday and Sunday daytime, followed by 14 days off. You will be required to work sole charge alongside an experienced RVN to start (as their OOH service won’t start until a vet has been found).
During the day, they have 3.5 vets, 4 RVN’s (soon to be 5) 2 SVN’s, 2 PCA’s, 4 receptionist and practice manager. Our client hopes to have a night team which consists of 4 teams of 1 vet and 1 nurse, once things are up and running.
Salary is generous, depending on experience. They are offering £2000 CPD budget and are happy to support certificates if wanted.
