Small Animal Roving Vet Required Covering North Central Scotland

Looking for a full time Roving vet surgeon to provide locum cover to various IVC Evidensia 1st opinion mixed practices covering the North of Scotland, offering opportunities to see farm caseloads from beef, cattle & sheep and occasional pig work, to equine caseloads as week as some exotics caseloads along the way offering a really diverse and unique role. North Central Scotland covers areas within Aberdeen, Peterhead, Elgin, Aviemore, Aberfeldy, Falkirk, Inverness & Fort William – locations are flexible. Salary from £55,000 negotiable D.O.E.
- Working 40 hours per week (placements could vary from a few days to a month)
- Sole charge in some cases
- Some OOH/weekend work depending on needs of the practice
- Some practices require short stays away from home but we can provide accommodation in some areas.

Must be a qualified vet surgeon and would need to be confident and proficient in all routine surgery. They should have good communication skills and be able to consult efficiently. The ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to different practice’s routines, and be prepared to take sole charge, is desirable. Must be RCVS registered and have Full UK driving licence as car allowance is available.
