The Role

An Official Veterinarian is required to work alongside our team. The successful candidate must hold the OV-P(x) qualification to provide certification for product export. Exports will take place Monday to Friday with no weekend or out of hours requirements - part time applications considered. We have several other OV-P(x) Veterinary Surgeons in the practice to provide support. Salary is £35-40K.

About Us

We are a 20 Vet mixed practice located in Northumberland with a large, small animal hospital providing our own OOH care. We have a dedicated farm and equine department and a large exotics caseload. We have 7 branch practices throughout Northumberland and North Tyneside. We are a very close and supportive team and strive to help support and develop all our staff.

Applicant Requirements

The successful candidate should ideally have experience of Official Veterinarian certification roles though training can be provided for the right candidate. They should be able to work independently off site, but with full support of the practice and colleagues. There is a chance for other OV work within the practice. Full driving licence and RCVS registration required.
