We are recruiting for a Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Nottingham.

This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week with a 1:3 half weekend or 1:6 full weekend rota.

The practices provide a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres. All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in the nearest state-of-the-art Animal Hospital.

The Vet would be joining a team of 1 other Vet and 1 Nurse and 2 patient care assistants.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious driven Vet who is looking to put their own stamp on a practice and drive the business forward. The role will be both clinical and managing the team. The Vet will be confident in routine surgeries, consultations, and sole charge work. They will have a good level of small animal experience and have an empathetic, caring, and friendly manner. They will be committed to providing a high standard of clinical care and will lead by example. Excellent client care and client facing skills are essential along with good communication skills.

The practices are fully equipped with all the latest diagnostic equipment and there is a wide range of state-of-the-art services available and with access to including:

Salary: Up to £65,000 for full time commensurate to experience
Holiday allowance: 5 weeks plus bank holidays
