The Role
Hart Vets is expanding, and we are looking for Veterinary Surgeons to come and join us. We want to make this role flexible to suit you, so whether you are looking for full time, part time or weekends only, we would love to hear from you! We operate our own out-of-hours service and so the successful candidate will take part in that. This is currently one duty per week and one in seven weekends. We have experienced, dedicated night nurses who will take the phones overnight and look after our in-patients throughout the small hours.
The salary will be from £40,000 up to £50,000 depending on experience. Hart Vets are happy to offer new hires a welcome bonus of £5000 (pro rata), or a relocation allowance.
About Us
We are a 12 vet (FTE) small animal hospital in beautiful Oxfordshire, close to the M40 and only an hour away from the centre of London. We have two surgeries located in Bicester, our main hospital and in Waddesdon, Aylesbury.

Our well-established night service at Hart Vets in Bicester, Oxfordshire is looking for a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join our highly-motivated team. The role is focused on the emergency and hospital care of a great variety of cases. You will work closely with our day team to ensure our patients have gold standard healthcare.
Throughout the night you will be working with one of our experienced dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurses who will take phone calls, triage, care for in-patients and support you during procedures.
You must enjoy client communication and be able to enhance the client bond through explanation and a warm, compassionate approach.
