A 3-Vet practice in the lovely town of Paisley is looking for a Small Animal Vet to join their team on a permanent basis. Flexible hours, great location and partnership opportunities for the right candidate!
Situated in the heart of Renfrewshire, Paisley is one of the largest towns in Scotland and is surrounded by picturesque rolling countryside. The town is home to Glasgow International Airport and is just a stone's throw away from Glasgow city centre making it a great place to live.
The practice is well established and the fabulous 3 Vet, 4 Nurse team is led by a Practice Owner with 25 years' experience. There are separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas and a special isolation unit for contagious patients.
The site is extremely well equipped with all the usual toys plus laser treatment, ECC, digital x-ray, in-house laboratory and in-house orthopaedics.
Appointment times are currently 15 minutes although there is a focus on allowing the team to carry out treatment in the proper fashion without rushing.
There is a pretty even split between consulting and surgery however there is some flexibility in terms of following your interests. Orthopaedic and soft tissue work is also carried out at this practice which the candidate is welcome to participate in. The practice conducts a lot of work ups.
The hours with this role are not fixed. Anything from 30-40-hour weeks can be discussed.
You will be required to work every third weekend, which includes a half day Sunday, with a small element of sole charge.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
The practice is looking for someone comfortable with routine surgery/consultations, and they should also be comfortable doing sole charge work. An eager attitude is more important to this practice than age or number of years qualified.
