Fair City Vets are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who would like to join our team as a Saturday Vet. We are open 8.30am-12.30pm on Saturdays and run with 1 Vet, 1 Registered Veterinary Nurse and 1 receptionist, running a busy morning of consultations. This is a flexible role with regards to the number of Saturdays worked per month and there is the option for additional overtime (which could include a morning of operations or a consult block at a time that suits you) during the week if desired. Our out of hours is covered by Vets Now in Dundee.
Fair City Veterinary Group is the longest established practice in Perthshire with 100 years of history. We are in the picturesque Perth, close to the High Street and the train station. We have recently undergone significant refurbishment and now have 3 consultation rooms and deliver established nurse clinics. As we are growing there is scope to find your niche and we will support you in this.
We have a friendly, welcoming team who are passionate about the practice and their roles. We run with four Vets and have both qualified and student Veterinary Nurses, who all work together with our fabulous reception team.
We are looking for a confident and competent Veterinary Surgeon who is willing to work with us offering excellent clinical and client service, within a supportive team. Ideally you will be comfortable both with medical work ups and surgical skills, as we are a true first opinion service. You will also need to be MRCVS registered.
