Our client’s RCVS-accredited small animal and equine practice is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to cover their OOH schedule as well as provide and support you with opportunities for you to develop clinical interests and grow within the practice.
Situated in beautiful Perthshire, ranked as the 5th best place to live in the UK this single-site, purpose-built facility features 6 consultation rooms, Imaging suite a fully equipped dental suite with dental x-ray, 2 theatres, endoscope, multiparameter machines, and anaesthetic monitoring, a comprehensive in-house lab for bloods, urinalysis, and cytology as well as access to visiting specialists for orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries.
This dedicated, friendly team of vets and skilled RVNs, create a positive and collaborative working environment where you will have clinical freedom to practice, with a forward-thinking approach, 15-minute routine appointments, with double slots for complex cases and reserved emergency slots with 30 minutes of catch-up time before day-end and 5pm finishes 3 days a week.
This is a permanent, full-time role with a 1:5 OOH schedule and Time off after OOH shifts including a day off after a weeknight on-call and a long weekend following an on-call weekend.
This role offers a salary up to £63,000 DOE with a range of benefits including
