JR Vets is recruiting for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon for our clients' well-established and newly refurbished clinic in South London. If you’re passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, leading a dedicated team, and shaping the clinical future of a thriving practice, this is the role for you!
With an experienced Head Nurse and excellent support staff, you’ll join a team committed to providing exceptional care to our local community. The practice is also expanding, and recruiting a second Vet to support this growth.

- Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 Per Year

Role Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding clinical care to your patients during consultations and procedures.
- Provide clear, compassionate communication with clients, keeping them updated on patient care.
- Ensure professional excellence, adhering to the highest regulatory and practice standards.
- Prepare accurate client estimates, manage payments, and minimise outstanding debts.
- Work with the Practice Manager to enhance commercial performance, focusing on key business metrics.
- Lead, mentor, and develop your team, optimising their skills and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Inspire your team by sharing best practices and embracing new or evolving standards.
- Complete clinical handovers and arrange out-of-hours or specialist care where needed.
