Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Night Veterinary Surgeon or an experienced vet who thrives in emergency and critical care and is looking for flexibility and a high-quality work environment. You will be responsible for managing all out-of-hours care at the hospital and surrounding clinics while working alongside a dedicated night nurse. The ideal candidate will be confident in sole-charge situations and making sound clinical judgments.
Situated in the region of South Yorkshire known as the gateway to the Peak District, this location offers a mix of beautiful countryside and urban amenities providing a range of cultural attractions, including theatres, galleries, shopping, and dining options with easy access to North Yorkshire, you can explore historic cities like York, Harrogate, and the Yorkshire Dales.
The practice is a 24-hour, purpose-built facility featuring Digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a full-body CT scanner, an in-house laboratory, 3 large consulting rooms, 2 theatres, and a spacious prep area as well as learning and office spaces to support continuous professional development. This practice is dedicated to providing high-quality, value-driven, and honest veterinary services for both day and night care.
