Due to growth and expansion, our client is looking for an experienced and friendly veterinary surgeon to join their practice in a bustling market town in Surrey. The practice is conveniently located close to the town center, just a 7-minute walk from the train station, with free onsite parking available.
This modern, well-equipped practice features state-of-the-art facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound with Doppler, a growing orthopaedic kit, and separate wards for dogs, cats, and isolation and a team, led by a veterinary surgeon with 20 years of experience—including 1 full-time vet, 4 RVNs, 2 student nurses, veterinary care assistants, receptionists, and a practice manager.
This team pride themselves on creating a supportive, progressive environment that encourages continuous learning, and is also an approved nurse training center. With a growing client base, they see a diverse range of cases, offering 15-minute consults as standard, and 30-minute consults for puppy vaccinations and new clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vet who is confident in handling routine surgical and medical cases and passionate about training and team development. An interest in ophthalmology, imaging, or cardiology would be advantageous.
This is a permanent, full-time role, however, our client will consider a part-time role for the right candidate, so please do let us know your preferences.
This role offers a salary up to £80,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
