A Surgically Bias Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon is required to join a great multi-Vet practice based in Worcester on a full-time basis!
We are searching for a Surgically Bias Veterinary Surgeon to help ease the ever-growing surgical case load within a multi-vet practice in Worcester.
Ideally, we are seeking a Vet who is currently working towards or who has completed their Surgical Certificate. A Vet who is keen to continue learning and developing would suit this role as the practice has lots of expansion plans within their surgical team!
The role would entail a small proportion of routine consulting allowing you to focus on the heavy surgical case load. The practice often has a regular throughput of Orthopaedics and advanced soft tissue surgeries you will be required to perform. A Vet who has a strong orthopaedic background or one who would like to develop their orthopaedic skills alongside the current surgical vet would be beneficial!
The practice is spacious, modern and well-equipped with 3 consulting rooms, 1 full-equipped theatre, prep room and much more! You will be joining a progressive team of 4 Veterinary Surgeons and nursing support team!
The role is a 37 hour per week position over either a 4- or 5-day working week. Ideally, we are looking for a Vet happy to join the weekend rota of currently 1:3 weekends. (Possibly moving to a 1:4 weekends with a new Vet!) which is both Saturday and Sunday. The weekend is mainly pre booked consulting days! There is no OOH work or on-call work required with this position.
Package and Benefits
You will be offered a competitive salary depending upon your current surgical skills set and further qualifications. A rough range between £55,000-£65,000 per annum is on offer. Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
- You must be registered with the RCVS!
- A Veterinary Surgeon working towards or currently holding a surgical certificate would be beneficial but not essential!
