The Role
This role would suit either an experienced Clinical Director or an experienced vet looking to take their first steps into this area. We are a busy small animal hospital with a varied and interesting caseload. Along with our current Clinical Directors, you would run consultations and surgical lists, whilst ensuring our Owners and Pets receive the best care.
Rota and Salary
The role is 40 hrs per week over 4 weekdays + lates/ evenings/weekends and support of onsite night staff for inpatient care on a rota.
The salary for this role is up to £65,000 depending on experience.
About Us
We are located on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds, which is an amazing place to live. We are surrounded by rural villages offering the best of rural living with the bonus of a fast train to London. De Montfort has veterinary Hospital status, of which we are very proud. We provide overnight care for our in-patients, but also utilise VetsNow for overnight emergencies. We have an amazing team-friendly receptionist, an amazing, experienced nursing and vet team and dedicated support staff and practice Manager. We have all the usual "toys" in our fully equipped theatres- including x-ray and Ultrasound Imaging, on-site lab etc.
About the Team and Culture
We currently have a mixed team of vets, ranging from very experienced to a brand-new Graduates starting later in the year. Each has their area of interest from dental, hip scoring and specialist Imaging. What can you add to the mix? We have a vastly experienced and hands-on nursing team, friendly receptionists and a dedicated support team tirelessly working to sort out Insurance queries and promote our Pet Health Club. We hold a silver award for being Rabbit Friendly and Gold Standard for our cats. It is an exciting time to join our team, as we are embarking on practice building improvements; ensuring we make the grade for our hospital inspection in 2023.
Applicant Requirements
You must be an existing Clinical Director or an experienced vet looking to take your first steps into this role. Most importantly, you must be reliable with a flexible approach and a "can-do" attitude.
