The Role
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our wonderful team. You will be assisting vets and nurses, running lab samples, nurse consults, assisting in theatre, general cleaning duties and some reception work. Potential to assist with future training of VCA and VN students. CPD encouraged and opportunities to develop other areas too. This is a full-time role; early shifts are 8.15am to 4.15pm and late shifts are 11.15am to 7.15pm, plus 1:4 Saturdays 9am to 4pm and no OOH. This is initially a 6-month contract with a view to potentially becoming permanent.

About Us
Shipley Veterinary Centre are a friendly practice on the egde of Yorkshire dales, only 20 minutes from Leeds City Centre. Our team consists of 5 Veterinary Surgeons (2 medicine cert holders), 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 VCA's, 3 Receptionists, 2 Admin staff. We are well equipped with an ultrasound, digital x-ray, in-house lab, laparoscopy and endoscopy.

Applicant Requirements
The successful applicant will be qualified and registered with the RCVS. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, positive, and organised, plus some experience in practice. A supportive team player with a high standard of patient care, you will also have a client focused approach. You should have great communication skills and be passionate at promoting preventative health care in patients. Assessor qualifications useful but not essential.
