ROYAL CANIN, nutrition specialists, will once again be tackling the challenging subject of weight management at this year’s BVNA Congress, taking place from 12th – 14th October.

This year, delegates will have the opportunity to sign up for complimentary access to ROYAL CANIN’s Weight Management Online course. The course features six modules ranging from feeding for weight loss to running a weight loss clinic and each module contains downloadable reading material/learning tools, as well as knowledge based questions. The course accounts for eight hours of CPD.

Delegates who sign up at BVNA will be granted open access to the course, allowing them to complete the modules at their own pace.

Visitors to the ROYAL CANIN stand will also have the opportunity to win one of several Body Condition Scoring tools, through a raffle style competition. The tool is designed to help Veterinary Professionals explain Body Condition Scoring to owners, and is an essential piece of equipment in any weight management clinic.

Caroline Burke, ROYAL CANIN Weight Management Specialist, said: “As we celebrate our 50th Birthday, nutrition, and weight management in particular, continue to be of utmost importance.

“As Pet obesity continues to be a topical subject, it’s vital that we support Veterinary Professionals across the country to understand the gravity of the matter and further ensure the weight management message is instilled to pet owners everywhere. We hope to see many attendees sign up for our Weight Management Online course and look forward to giving away BCS tools to those lucky winners.”

ROYAL CANIN can be found on stand A4.
