Sustainability At The Heart Of The VET Festival

VET Festival, in partnership with Centaur Services, is proud to have sustainability at the heart of the event, supporting the long term goal for all CPD events to be more environmentally sustainable.
This year organisers Fitz All Media have backed a number of environmentally conscious initiatives and are proud to be supporting the Learning Without Landfill campaign and will sign their pledge at the event.
Initiatives include minimising plastics by having a no drinking straw policy, using recycling bins throughout the event and encouraging all delegates to attend with a refillable water bottle. Delegates are also encouraged to think about consumable energy and switch off devices during the day where possible along with recycling both badges and lanyards for future events. The organisers have also used food suppliers with a commitment to ethically sourcing and the food served throughout the event promotes good health, uses organic produce certified by the soil association and products are supplied in reusable packaging.
Learning Without Landfill is a campaign started by two vet nurses keen to see a reduction in the waste we see at large CPD events and VET Festival has committed to sign their pledge at the event this year.

We cannot care for our patients and ourselves if we do not care for the environment”

VET Festival
VET Festival is a CPD conference for companion animal veterinary professionals and is in its fourth year. Conceived by Professor Noel Fitzpatrick (Managing Director of Fitzpatrick Referrals), VET Festival launched in 2015 at the University of Surrey before it relocated to Loseley Park in 2016.
