Overview: I am a BSc Animal Science graduate from University of Reading with a keen interest for conservation, exotic animal nutrition and a passion for research of Ursidae.
In 2018/2019 I spent a year as the nutrition intern at Chester Zoo, where I was lucky enough to conduct a research project on the Malayan Sun Bear. In addition to this I have gained experience working with the behaviour and welfare team, as well as the endocrinology team.
Previous work has predominantly been within the veterinary industry where I have learnt the vital skills of working under pressure, as well as working within a fast paced team.
In my spare time you'll find me volunteering for the Millennium Elephant Foundation in Sri Lanka and the Cinnamon Trust in the UK.
