Overview: I qualified in January 2008 when I went to work for Banfield in Leeds. This job involved a lot of triaging for the Vets and doing bloods and fluids for all ops including rabbits so this became a key skill of mine. We also did the Veterinary work for RSPCA Leeds and Wakefield district. For the last 11 years I have worked as a Head Nurse and Clinical Coach in two Small Animal/Equine practices. Over the last two years I have concentrated on learning minor surgical skills and am competent in stitch ups, lump removals and closing wounds for the Vets. My interests are to develop further in this area and to use my clinical skills. I'm happy doing all general nurse duties such as cleaning, dispensing etc but really dislike nurse clinics. After years of permanent roles I am now looking for the flexibility and change that locum work offers. I can either work odd days locally or longer contracts up to 2 hours away if accomodation was provided through the week.Gender: Female
