Overview: Having completed a three-year veterinary nursing course at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, I was employed by the dedicated Exotic and Wildlife service of the institute where I completed the City&Guilds Certificate in Veterinary Nursing of Exotic Species, this has given me plenty of British wildlife and zoo experience. Whilst training I found a strong connection to this area of nursing and wish to continuously improve and challenge myself with these extraordinary creatures. I travelled frequently growing up and therefore am well suited in adapting to new surroundings as well as a good level of spoken French. I have recently experienced a surge in African wildlife exposure by assisting the Montecasino Bird Gardens Veterinary surgeon in the daily monitoring, diagnostics, surgery and treatment of their wide variety of species. I have also had the pleasure of anaesthetising Chakma Baboons for conservation research in the field alongside the Veterinary Surgeon and a small team for research purposes.Gender: Female
