Overview: I am a currently veterinary medicine student at the University of Glasgow. For personal reasons, I will be taking the 2020/2021 academic year out of my studies, but would love a job which allows me to remain in the veterinary field during this time. I am an aspiring small animal veterinarian, but also have extensive customer service experience, through working as a sales advisor for two years. I hope to apply the skills I gained here by working as a veterinary receptionist or similar. I have volunteered for two years at a small animal practice, and am part of three committees at my veterinary school. This includes being my year representative for a student-run charity at our small animal hospital, being the fundraising coordinator of the pathology club, and helping to organise the 2020 BSAVA symposium at the University of Glasgow Veterinary School. I have also been involved in a range of university sports, including netball, rowing, swimming and kayaking.
