Overview: Hi, My name is Jade. I have a vast background with animals ranging from working at other veterinary clinics, animal shelters and stables. I originally trained as a professional groom completing a BTEC in Horse Management and Breeding before working with dressage horses. I then went on to switch to working in wildlife conservation completing a BSc and MSc in Conservation and Biodiversity before graduating last year after completing my thesis. I have worked with a range of wildlife from domestic and farm animals to African wildlife on reserves and primates within zoo settings. My genuine life-long love for animals ensures that I have the passion for learning and am a truly keen to improve and provide the best care I can to all animals. I have also kept pets all my life and I am familiar with dogs, cats, horses, farm animals and small rodents. In addition, due to my extensive education within the conservation science field and biological field, I am very clued up in veterinary medicine, terminology and what exactly is expected when working in a veterinary clinic. In my past jobs, I have gain invaluable practice such as customer service, communication, and the value of team work. I have excellent computer skills and I am well versed in all Microsoft Word packages, CMS systems and databases. I have a lot of experience dealing with diary management, scheduling, finances and banking. I build a great rapport with clients and communicate well both face to face and over the telephone. I feel this makes me a good candidate for a position as a veterinary receptionist. I look forward to hearing from you!
