Overview: I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1985 from the Royal Veterinary College in London and in 1992 I gained my Diploma in Advanced Surgical Nursing. I am an honorary member of the British Veterinary Nursing Association and I regularly lecture to Veterinary team members on a range of topics.
I have a particular interest in “One Health” and in 1992 I left veterinary practice to Join Bayer Animal health where I worked as Senior Practice Support Advisor (Field based Role). In my role, I trained vets, nurses, and receptionists in how to promote owner compliance/concordance, regarding preventative Veterinary Healthcare in particular. I am C-SQP Qualified and DISC certified. In 2019 following redundancy I joined Ashfield Healthcare and was immediately contracted to Boehringer-Ingelheim in a similar role to that I previously held at Bayer.
I am immensely proud of my profession and the role I can play in educating clients to be responsible pet owners.
On 30th June 2020 during the Covid-19 Crisis I will become redundant for the 2nd time in 18 months and therefore I am looking for a new and exciting career opportunity
