Overview: I am highly motivated, versatile and hardworking with experience working with many exotic and domesticated animals in both paid and voluntary positions, such as a zookeeper and a dog walker. I have enormous respect and affection for animals and a great concern for their welfare. I possess a degree in Wildlife Conservation with Zoo Biology BSc as well as a level 3 Diploma in the Management of Zoo and Aquaria Animals (DMZAA) which have allowed me to gain knowledge in many areas of animal care and welfare such as; nutritional requirements, anatomy, health, law/legislation, ethics, genetics, breeding, behaviour and welfare. I am also enrolled on the SCQF 3 Veterinary Terminology course due to start in September. I am committed to continuous personal development and have attended various conferences and workshops to further my knowledge in animal care.
