Overview: I have a 2:1 in Animal Science, BTEC National Diploma in Animal Management (Triple Distinction) and a BTEC First Diploma in Animal Care (Distinction).
I have have gained voluntary experience across a wide variety of placements including a zoo, farm, swan sanctuary, kennels, vet practice (many years ago!) and college animal unit. My most recent placements have involved working as a Farm Ranger for Sheldon Country Park, Zoo Guest Engagement Volunteer at Drayton Manor Zoo and Dog Walker for the Cinnamon Trust.
I have always had a passion for animal care and welfare, and it 's now the right time for me to pursue this as a career. My goal would be to complete training to qualify as a vet nurse, but I'm also happy to consider Vet Nursing Assistant roles (including Auxiliary Assistant) and voluntary roles. Part- time hours are preferred but open to full-time, and happy to work unsociable hours.
