Overview: I am currently the night nurse manager for an independent mixed practice in South wales and have just taken on a role as a lecturer of veterinary nursing for colegegwent working approximately 8 hours per week.
I have extensive ECC experience, including working at the royal veterinary college in the Queen Mother hospital for animals as an ECC nurse in the intensive care department.
I was a head nurse for a busy small animal practice in south wales. I have previously carried out locum work and also have worked for a night service for over a year.
I carried out my training in a busy veterinary hospital.
Used to all types of shift work and enjoy being in a busy challenging environment.
I have a certificate in wound management, I have spoken at BVNA congress, written several publications for the veterinary nurse journal and sit on their editorial board. I have also presented webinars with the BVNA and through the webinar vet on various subjects.
I am also a BVNA regional representative for the South west wales region providing CPD to my region.
