Overview: Hello! My name is Beth Watson, and I am a 2019 graduate of the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. I have a broad range of interests and experiences, and I am especially interested in small animal and exotics medicine, as well as research and conservation. I am currently based in the California Bay Area and would require a visa sponsorship. Since graduating and passing the NAVLE, I have been serving as a veterinary advisor to a diagnostics company that is currently working towards creating a novel product in equine endocrinology. I am seeking an opportunity which will allow me to apply and develop my clinical skills. Given my previous experience conducting research at the Roslin Institute, I would also be excited to contribute to research projects. In particular, I am eager to expand upon my surgical skills, developing independence as a surgeon. I would be happy to work on a part time basis, with the potential to develop into a full time role.
