Overview: Articulate, tenacious, motivated, empathic small animal veterinary surgeon. Experience in first-opinion front-line small animal practice, busy OOH Emergency and Critical Care, and first-opinion practice (which has included avian/exotics work). Have worked in both sole-charge and multi-vet practices. I'm used to working in very high-pressure sole charge clinical roles frequently successfully managing multiple critical cases simultaneously, as well as team-based hospital practices where supervising and mentoring other vets added to the challenge and satisfaction. However, I'm looking for a change from my current long-standing out-of-hours practice where I have set and pushed the standard for seven years. I'm taking bookings for locum placements while looking for my next long-term appointment. A permanent position around the South East Wales or South West England area would be attractive.I would also be interested in discussing a full time technical/advisory role.
