Overview: I grew up in the agricultural environment of Sparta, Greece. The daily interaction with farrm animals and nature created from an early age a dream in my mind; I wanted to become a veterinarian.

Some years later, inn 2017, I graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a considerably high grade of 8/10 and was awarded a scholarship for my exceptional student performance. I also took advantage of the Erasmus Practice I was liable to, at the University of Budapest, on the fields of internal medicine, equine and exotics, completing my education and qualifying me with a strong background to enter the reality of this demanding profession.

My work experience started in a stray animal care center (DIKEPAZ), in Athens, which proved to be an ideal opportunity to develop significant skills and qualifications for my career. Over the period of a year I was able to master routine controls and manage a vast number of emergency cases. On the field of surgery, I not only developed confidence in small animal castration (mostly dogs) and trauma management, but also assisted in severe orthopedic procedures. Soon after, until this day, I have been working in a fully equipped veterinary practice in my birthplace, Sparta, where I have been able to enrich my experience in forming an appropriate diagnostic plan, but also participating in a great number of surgeries related in wild boar-hunting traumas in dogs.

Having never before worked in the UK, I consider a job there a challenge. However, I am a hands on person and I always get the work done, despite the obstacles and difficulties. Considering my excellent use of English and my passion to expand my knowledge and skills, I am confident I will adapt really fast in this new field and will soon enough meet your desired expectations.

I appreciate your time.
