Overview: I moved to the UK 10 years ago from Lithuania to study pharmacy. This move taught me resilience and an ability to adopt to change. After I completed my pharmacy degree and registered as a pharmacist, I went on to study veterinary medicine at the University of Surrey. Throughout my time at the university I worked part-time as a locum pharmacist to both help fund my degree and build on my skills working with clients. Locum work taught me how to seamlessly merge into a team and understand different ways people work in practice. It also honed my communication skills with clients, especially when I counsel parents with children, I find the approach similar to that of a veterinary consultation.
I am looking for a supportive team to join as a new graduate veterinary surgeon in an area within reasonable travel distance by car from Stevenage.
