Overview: I have gained valuable and extensive experience in small animal first opinion surgery and medicine at my current local practice in Bristol. I am as comfortable with routine medical and surgical procedures as I am with more advanced medical cases. I value the importance of lifelong learning and furthering my medical skills which I would like to advance in a hospital /larger practice environment. I look to gain greater experience in advanced medical practice.
I strongly believe that a multi-disciplinary team of vets with different levels of experience and expertise often guarantees the highest clinical standard of care.
The opportunity to share, learn and apply these practices is exactly what I am looking for in my career. Of course, I am not only looking to learn important new skills, but I am always ready to offer my substantial experience in a new and challenging environment. For instance, I am the lead medical practitioner for my practice and am expected to be the main vet for complex medical cases. Moreover, I am well experienced in using US diagnostics which I hope to apply further.
I am working hard and thoroughly enjoying studying for my PgCert in Small Animal Medicine, which I will complete in October 2021. As I am sure you are aware, along with common presentations, it is vital to work on complex cases to ensure adequate exposure to many aspects of medicine. I am fortunate that the clinical cases in my current practice in Bristol are often broad, challenging and, at times, complex. However, I want to gain an even greater experience in advanced medical cases, which I hope to achieve by working in your large practice group with a diverse demographic of clients in London.

I am also a committed and curious veterinarian that is extremely passionate about animal welfare, which I have demonstrated throughout my career and in my studies. Previous employers say that I have a tremendous capacity for teamwork. They also note I have the ability to quickly adapt and settle into existing working structures with a positive, altruistic and participative attitude.
