This module will review the principles of reconstructive and oncological surgery including the use of simple skin flaps in dogs and cats. Emphasis is placed on the application of a range of simple techniques to improve outcomes with a range of case examples to illustrate key points.
Delegates completing this module will feel confident to apply the principles that they have learned to the reconstructive surgeries that they perform in general practice.
The module is suitable for all levels and has been designed to meet some of the syllabus requirements in this area in the RCVS modular certificate module CSAS2.
