The Role
Our client is seeking a driven and commercially minded Sales Representative to develop and grow a portfolio across the Midlands territory. This is a highly customer-facing role, with 80% of your time spent in the field, building relationships, identifying opportunities, and supporting veterinary practices.
You will be responsible for sales development, education, demonstrations, trials, and ongoing customer support, acting as a trusted partner to veterinary professionals and clinical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage new customer relationships within your territory
- Identify customer needs and create opportunities for both clients and the business
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and manage customer trials
- Actively manage and progress sales pipeline opportunities to achieve targets
- Support educational and training events
- Provide market feedback on customer requirements and competitor activity
About You
- Degree in a life science subject or proven experience within the veterinary/medical sector
- Strong understanding of business development principles
- Experience with capital equipment sales
- Ability to quickly build a relevant professional network
- Confident presenter with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences
- A passion to work within an animal related field
- Professional, personable, and customer-focused
- Commercially aware with a passion for sales and marketing
- Based within the geographic area of responsibility
