This role will focus on taking a well-respected product portfolio of veterinary-focused products into international markets. Utilising a distributor-focused model to grow existing and new territories overseas. The ideal candidate will be located in the UK or Ireland, experienced in managing and developing international distribution networks, and at a level to offer strategic guidance in this journey to a well-oiled, operations-focused business.
Core Responsibilities:
- Grow international presence for a product portfolio focused in the veterinary industry.
- Research new markets, select distribution partners, and grow the sales channels.
- Partner with existing distributors to develop strong partnerships that create a greater commercial return.
- Offer strategic insight and detailed planning for commercial growth to the company Director.
- Sit in an SLT function within the business. Being the go-to voice for all matters of international/commercial development.
Key Requirements
- Experience in developing international distribution networks within the veterinary industry.
- Senior-level capability to create strategic go to market plans, and execute them.
- Willingness and capability to travel. This role WILL require frequent international travel.
- Culture-focused. The incoming candidate will need to be a good fit for the existing team. Friendly, conscientious, engaging, and a team player.
