We are recruiting for a Veterinary Account Manager who will be responsible for introducing/selling new services to existing customers, launching services for new customers and providing ongoing support to Veterinary Practices on a 12-month FTC. The territory will cover the North of England & the South of Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring management and growth in performance for all accounts within your territory in line with company targets
- Conduct regular business reviews with practice stakeholder/s and, through strategic thinking and in-depth questioning and insights, identify incorrect assumptions or actions and provide relevant solutions to gain engagement for a different way to work
- Conduct strategic meetings with practices
- Create, support, and evolve plans to support and become a pillar of the veterinary business. This includes but is not restricted to content, pricing, marketing, invoicing, promoting and ongoing management.
- Review your accounts to identify gaps and needs to change and introduce performance through new products, and ensure practices are provided training and coaching to successfully use new products.
- Support practices via a variety of different formats, including but not restricted to, face-to-face, webinars, virtual meetings and training sessions, email and phone support.
- Ensure all administration work is complete within the set time frames, and attend all team meetings, both face-to-face, virtual, or conference calls.
Requirements
- Proven track record as an account manager with proven ability to grow customer value
- Demonstrable sales experience
- Located within territory
- Excellent oral communication and presenting skills
- Full driving licence
- Good computer and database skills
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
- Strong writing and record-keeping ability for reports and training manuals
