An opportunity to work for a family-owned premium veterinary product specialist. This role offers a competitive salary and car allowance working within one of the fastest growing equipment businesses globally. This position could be for you if you have experience of equipment sales and are looking for a role on a high-performing territory with great existing business relationships.
You will be looking after a territory spanning South-West England/Wales. You will be a motivated self-starter who is happy actively planning your own diary and managing a sales territory independently. This business is experiencing rapid year on year growth, and presents plenty of potential for future career growth.
Responsibilities
- Managing a sales territory. Using outbound sales techniques to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Ensuring close relationships with customer practices to track potential future need and nurture existing relationships.
- Managing own call cycle - typically 6 weeks in advance.
- Attend meetings, training and events to keep close to industry developments.
- Train veterinary professionals on how to use equipment to a high standard.
- Assist in managing and setting up wet lab training sessions in your territory.
- Oversee sales process from lead generation, through to sales quotes and invoicing.
Qualities
- Experience in equipment sales in veterinary, human medicine, or dental. Similar experience will be considered.
- Willingness to travel to cover the full territory.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self motivated and sales driven.
- A clinical background would be a bonus but not essential.
