The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Marketing Executive to play a key role in the next phase of an ambitious and fast-growing business in the veterinary sector. This is an exciting opportunity to shape marketing strategy, lead impactful campaigns, and drive brand awareness and customer growth.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you’ll take ownership of multi-channel marketing activity, oversee brand communications, optimise digital performance, and support the development of a junior marketer. You’ll work closely with sales, product and customer success teams to ensure marketing activity is aligned with wider business goals and delivers measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver marketing strategies aligned to business goals
- Lead multi-channel campaigns across digital, print and events
- Own brand positioning, messaging and communications across all channels
- Drive lead generation, customer acquisition and conversion optimisation
- Manage digital performance including SEO, PPC, paid social and website optimisation
- Analyse campaign performance, report on KPIs and optimise ROI
- Plan and deliver events, webinars and industry engagement activity
- Collaborate closely with sales, product and customer success teams
- Build partnerships and manage external agencies
- Mentor and support a junior marketer, fostering team development
- Manage marketing budgets and report performance to senior leadership
Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in a marketing role with strategic responsibility (digital or SaaS experience preferred)
- CIM Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, lead generation and brand positioning
- Proven experience managing SEO, PPC and social campaigns
- Confident using marketing analytics and CRM tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Pipedrive)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working closely with sales, product and customer success teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and show clear ROI
