We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading veterinary healthcare company known for their premium product portfolio. As they continue to grow, they're looking for a passionate and commercially focused Territory Sales Manager to join their UK sales team.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of driving the sales value of an established international company who are making headway in the UK market, working closely with veterinary practices to promote innovative health solutions while building lasting relationships across the industry.
This role will be well-suited to an experienced veterinary salesperson who has a good understanding of the industry and existing relationships with independent practices. This role will suit a candidate who has a genuine passion for driving new business development and enjoys being on the road, driving new sales. There is a strong possibility that this role will develop into a leadership position in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow veterinary accounts through in-practice and virtual visits
- Promote a portfolio of premium veterinary products
- Conduct in-person practice visits per day, with regular admin and planning time
- Deliver educational presentations and product training to veterinary teams
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Monitor sales performance across the territory and adapt strategies accordingly
- Attend veterinary trade shows and industry events (approx. 4 annually)
- Support strategic initiatives through market insights and competitor analysis
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market presence
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, technical services, regulatory) to deliver aligned commercial strategies
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in veterinary or pharmaceutical sales is preferred
- Alternatively, experience in a veterinary, animal health, or scientific role with commercial aptitude
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter with excellent diary management and organisational skills
- Comfortable working both independently and within a wider team
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
