Are you a self-motivated, technically minded sales professional with a strong background in animal health and a passion for the ruminant sector?
We're recruiting for a veterinary account manager to cover Scotland for a well-established and innovative animal health business with a strong reputation in the market.
The Role:
As a Veterinary Account Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering sales and gross margin targets within your territory. You'll manage and develop long-term relationships with existing veterinary clients while identifying and converting new business opportunities. This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy and takes pride in their performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow key veterinary accounts across Scotland
- Follow up on business leads and actively develop new opportunities
- Organise and manage your own work schedule independently
- Conduct on-farm product demonstrations alongside veterinary clients
- Communicate complex technical information clearly to both vets and farmers
- Maintain CRM systems accurately and consistently
- Attend occasional evening/ weekend events as well as conferences and internal meetings
- Be flexible to travel with overnight stays
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of three years of experience in the animal health, agriculture or veterinary sector
- Proven track record of increasing sales within a defined territory
- Strong relationship-building skills with new and existing clients
- Confident using CRM tools and managing sales data
- Motivated, proactive attitude and strong sense of ownership in your work
- Comfortable working independently and managing a varied workload
