We are working with a leading global pet nutrition company looking to grow their veterinary sales team with a commercially driven Veterinary Territory Sales Manager.
This is an excellent field-based role focused on supporting veterinary practices with education, commercial planning and technical product expertise whilst driving revenue growth across the Cornwall & Devon territories.
The ideal candidate for this role is either a veterinary nurse with strong commercial acumen, who is looking to take a step into a sales based environment or a sales professional with a scientific background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage existing veterinary accounts and increase revenue
- Develop new & long-lasting relationships across the Cornwall & Devon territory
- Provide education to practices on the available product range
- Collaborate with vet practices to develop tailored business plans to ensure increased revenue
- Manage your own sales calendar to ensure consistent coverage across the territory
- Represent the brand at trade shows, events and conferences
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- Scientific qualification
- Previous experience in sales is desirable
- Knowledge of the veterinary industry is advantageous
- Strong relationship building & communications skills are a must
- Full UK driving license & flexibility to travel across Cornwall & Devon.
Remuneration:
- Base salary up to £43,000 (depending on experience)
- Performance based commission
- Company car
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
