Large Animal Technical Advisor - Ireland
Are you a Veterinary Surgeon (currently registered) with an enthusiasm for ruminants looking for a rare opportunity to join a leading pharmaceutical business with an exciting and well respected product portfolio?
This is an ideal role for a Veterinary Surgeon wanting to transition into the commercial Animal Health sector or for an existing Veterinary Advisor with previous commercial experience already in industry to join a passionate team of professionals.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate and contribute to various marketing materials and sales aids, offer support and technical training to the existing sales team, educate farmers and advise customers on product use. Full product and role training will be provided to the successful individual.
Key Requirements:
- Veterinary Surgeon qualification essential
- 3+ years in farm clinical practice
- Passion for UK farming
- Full clean driving license, based on the road 2-3 days a week
- Confidence to deliver presentations to promote company portfolio
- Provide technical advice and support to Territory Managers, Farmers and Veterinarians on large animal health & welfare issues
- Willingness to work alone as well as part of a team
- Stay up to date on the latest research and developments in large animal health & welfare
